Piper Aerostar 

N3646K is a PA60-601P/700 Machen conversion, pressurized piston engine twin with a total of seven seats.  Because it is rather compact we usually limit it to a pilot and three passengers.  It cruises at about 240 knots (270 MPH) and has a range of some 800 miles. The environmental system consists of an engine driven air conditioner for cooling and a combustion heater for warmth in winter and at higher altitudes. The combination of environmental system and pressurization make the airplane comfortable at altitudes up to 20,000. This airplane is best suited to one or two passengers that are traveling distances of 400 to 500 miles.
